GUEST APARTMENT: LOCATED IN PARK
PLACE APARTMENTS (Second floor, South end)
POLICY: The residents residing in United Retirement Center Avera, Park Place Apartments and/or Park Place Assisted Living may have
their family members or legal contact person stay in the guest apartment
located in Park Place Apartment.
PROCEDURES:
- By calling 605-692-5351, E-mail info@urcpp.com or FAX 605-692-5982 you can make reservations. The receptionist will
take reservations Monday through Friday 9 AM to 5:30 PM for non-emergency
events. In case of emergency reservations ask for receptionist or charge
nurse.
- Reservation will be written in the reservation calendar located in
the Park Place Apartment drawer at the nurses' Station.
- Reservation will be made in order that the reservation (s) are received.
- Reservation in excess of 5 mid nights must have the approval of the
Administrator
- A daily charge of $40.00 per night for I to 3 people and $50.00 per
night for 4 to 6 people.
- URC Avera housekeeping staff will:
a. Will check the book daily for reservations and ensure the room is
ready for guest (s)
b. Will clean room after every reservation to ensure the room is ready
for future guest (s)
c. Will place keys, no more than two, on the kitchen counter.
d. After the guest leaves the keys on the counter, staff will place
the keys back in the apartment office.
- United Retirement Center Avera has furnished the apartment with the following:
a. Twin beds, a fold out double couch, two recliner chairs, toaster,
coffee pot, dishes, silverware, hand soap, towels, wash clothes, bedding,
refrigerator, and TV
- Pets are not allowed without approval of the Administrator and only
after assessment of the pet and written proof from a licensed veterinarian
the pet is free of disease and has had up to date shots. The Administrator
may refuse any or all pets. Administrator may ask the pet to be removed
if a problem arises. There will be a $10.00 a day charge for any pets
that are allowed.
