URC Avera capital campaign

Since 2001, the URC Avera Child Development Center has been a vital part of what connects generations on the United Retirement Center Avera campus.

Throughout those five years, children have joined residents in our skilled nursing home, assisted living, and independent living apartments, not only in physical space but also in a host of stimulating, intergenerational activities.

All of these standard procedures will be part of the new facility that will accommodate 84 children, including a separate area and entrance to care for sick children with short-term illnesses. Another 36 children will be cared for in the current URC location.
