Hi, I am Jessica Wilson. I graduated from South Dakota State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Consumer Sciences in May of 2007. I majored in Human Development and Family Studies and minored in Gerontology. I first came to United Retirement Center as an intern in the recreational therapy department. After spending 9 weeks at URC I could not leave the residents and staff that I came to know so well. I was able to find a place in the URC family as the Human Resources Director. So here I am. I am originally from Ivanhoe, MN, where I grew up on a farm, with my parents and three younger brothers. I have a wonderful husband, Joe, of 2 years and we have a terrific son, Carter, who is 17 months old. Carter comes to URC with me everyday, although we do part ways in the morning.

A philosophy that I live by is to always be your best self and to keep smiling and laughing. I hope to instill that in the lives of the URC family.
